Details: The Senior administrator exercises responsibility for worldwide trademark and/or domain name portfolio management and/or protection, and copyright infringement matters to support the growth and protection of ETS brands, new product development, business plans and the acquisition of trademark-related intellectual property consistent with ETS initiatives. Responsibilities:Participation in business planning and conducting corporate-level reviews of new and continuing business opportunities in relation to extending and protecting brand equity and providing guidance on appropriateness of a deal and business risk related to ETS? intellectual property assets, enforcement and protection; assisting Legal, Program and SBU staff in considering and planning long-range goals, objectives and addressing concerns in order to anticipate and provide guidance on maintaining and protecting the value of ETS intellectual property assets and to leverage those assets in ETS? changing and expanding areas of business. Analyzing, interpreting and recommending solutions to a wide variety of complex intellectual property related issues in connection with ETS and ETS subsidiary business opportunities and third-party enforcement efforts including internet criminal activities; developing and implementing strategies globally to ensure protection of intellectual property assets and minimizing risk to ETS through legal review of ETS branded products and services advertising and marketing collateral and third-party websites; ensuring protection and proper use of ETS intellectual property by clients, ETS Subsidiary, ETS Preferred Associates, ETS Country Master Distributors, ETS Certified Test Administration Sites, co-sponsors, co-branding partners and other business associates as well as governmental or quasi-government agencies or ministries and third-parties by monitoring and advising on use of ETS trademarks and copyrighted materials in performance of compliance requirements and agreements in connection with advertising, marketing and promotional materials, activities, events and websites. May be required to independently draft trademark and/or copyright license agreements in order to leverage and protect ETS? intellectual property assets. Managing the ETS worldwide trademark and/or domain name portfolio and/or protection and copyright infringement matters; including providing guidance in regard to the selection adoption, and registrations of ETS trademark-related intellectual property including ETS needs assessments, renewals and maintenance and/or drafting and filing complaints and other legal documents in order to extend and protect existing and new brands and core marks in various markets and trade channels to meet ETS? changing and expanding business models. Coordinating with and advising ETS and ETS subsidiary officers, area financial controllers, division and project directors, and intellectual property specialists as appropriate or necessary. Works with internal and external counsel to implement and support other initiatives related to interpreting corporate agreements in support of Legal Division?s enforcement and protection of ETS, ETS subsidiary and client intellectual property rights. Coordinate with Legal staff in the drafting of a variety of intellectual property agreements for ETS SBUs, Publicity Release forms and/or other documents necessary to protect ETS confidential information and in support of marketing and promotional activities and events.
